**PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A WAITLIST FOR BRIDGE ON THIS CRUISE**
The treasures of Arctic Norway, from the region’s snow-smothered landscapes to its native people and wildlife, are yours to encounter on this magical cruise. You’re in for a winter adventure full of unforgettable experiences, including chances to witness the remarkable Aurora Borealis. Whilst cruising in the Arctic Ocean, and during a visit to Alta, you might be – with luck on your side – fortunate enough to see Mother Nature’s light show illuminate the sky with dancing ribbons of colour once darkness descends.
While at Alta, you could also meet, spend time with, and learn about the life of, the Sami people during a visit to communities living amongst the Arctic wilderness, and perhaps view the UNESCO-listed rock carvings of Hjemmeluft at Alta Museum. Enjoy a day in Tromsø too; see the city’s Neoclassic architecture, visit the iceberg-shaped Arctic Cathedral, and take in winter scenery from a cable car up Mount Storsteinen. There’s also a visit to Bodø, situated on the beautiful Kystriksveien Coastal Route, where you can revel in views of the rugged surrounding scenery and delve into years of local fishing heritage. All this and more is yours to experience on a shorter, 9-night sailing thanks to Bolette’s higher cruising speed and Newcastle’s closer proximity to Norway.
