Leave Falmouth this afternoon for a leisurely afternoon in the beautiful town of St Ives, on the North Coast. This picturesque seaside town has become well known as an artists’ haven. Explore the town’s narrow streets with one of our blue badge guides who will point out all the key highlights before leaving you to enjoy exploring independently. Marvel at the numerous quaint galleries and enjoy a stroll around the harbour without the vast crowds of the summer months.

Morning Tour: The Lost Gardens of Heligan
Travel from Falmouth to the Lost Gardens of Heligan near St Austell. Just like a fairy-tale, the 57-acre gardens were lost for 70 years beneath a mass of ivy, brambles and fallen timber and have been beautifully restored to their former glory with a number of fantastic and unique features. Learn about the remarkable story of these impressive gardens with your blue badge guide and have time to wander at your own leisure as well. For those not wanting to do too much walking, you will find there are plenty of benches throughout the gardens, which will enable you to enjoy the tranquil environment and see why it was voted the ‘The Nation’s Favourite Garden’. For the more adventurous, explore everything from Victorian pleasure grounds, to vegetable gardens, a sub-tropical jungle and the 30 acre ‘Lost Valley’ that is now the focus of sustainable woodland management practices.
