We very much appreciate your support and taking part in any (or all!) of the events and fundraising efforts we offer, it makes all the difference to the people and communities that you are helping.
For 2025 we will be kicking off the efforts in March, and there will be an array of activities and fundraising opportunities all the way through to September. Take a look below for more information.
This Year's Charity: Cancer Research UK
This charity is close to our hearts, as it is to many, so we are supporting Cancer Research UK in 2025. For the past 120 years, they have been making discoveries that save lives.
But they have so much more to do as cancer remains one of the world’s greatest health challenges. Their strategy renews the focus on making discoveries, driving progress and bringing hope to those affected by cancer.

Fundraising 2025
We have some exciting fundraising initiatives to get involved in or donate to this year, and we really appreciate supporting us in any way you can.
See below for our other charity initiatives this year.
To kick (well, walk) start March, we will be joining the walk-all-over-cancer campaign! Several Members of the team have their fit-bits and watches, walking boots and trainers at the ready to track the goal of 10,000 steps a day throughout the month of March.
CHARITY RUN – In May 2025 our Cruise and Overseas Specialist, Gary – our resident runner, took on BOTH the 10k “Race for Life” at Windsor Racecourse this May and then The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon. See the photos of Gary below and his race stats.

For anyone attending our events at Denham Grove in May and August, you will be treated to some home baked goodies on your coffee breaks! We kindly ask that you leave a donation in the Cancer Research UK collection box next to the cakes, so please be sure to bring some change (or a note!) so you can grab yourself a tasty treat!

Here's What We Did in September 2024
In September 2024 we raised money for Cancer Research UK. A really important cause that helps many people across the UK. Below is a video of Helen, Alfie and Gary taking part in the 5k Inflatable Fun Run!
The efforts don’t stop there! Whatever we raise during the month of September, BMB will match the funds raised and add it to our total donation to Cancer Research UK. So please do get involved and help us achieve.
