27th September 2025   |   20 Nights   |   Valencia   |   Balmoral   |   L252526

ABOUT THIS CRUISE

Our team has designed this iconic Mediterranean cruise to reveal charming cliff-edge towns, from the Italian Riviera’s Cinque Terre to Corsica’s Bonifacio. Balmoral will sail past the colourful Amalfi Coast, where you can witness Ravello, Amalfi and Positano from the comfort of your ship.

You will also sail into the fjord-like Bay of Kotor and past the mountainous Makarska Riviera, while ashore, witness the wonders of nature at Lake Bled, Lokrum Island or Krka Waterfalls. Indulge in ‘la dolce vita’ – the sweet life – in Italy, as you savour local delights like scialatielli pasta, limoncello and pizza, and stroll through Sorrento’s sweet-smelling lemon groves.

When in Croatia, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture, dine in authentic konobas, indulge in Dingač and Postup red wines and enjoy the rhythmic beats of folk music. There will also be opportunities to unearth fascinating Roman and Balkan history with visits to Paestum, Pompeii, Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the Walls of Dubrovnik.

Your BMB Host

Two Hosts

Richard & Sue Jones

Richard learnt to play bridge at the age of 11, but only set foot in a bridge club after retiring in 2016 and soon became fascinated by the game and has taken every opportunity to improve his knowledge. He is an EBU qualified teacher and director and directs regularly F2F and on-line. Representing the county and playing in congresses satisfies his competitive streak but he equally enjoys playing socially with friends.

Sue is a more recent convert to the game and now enjoys playing at the local club and on-line. She has excellent organisational skills and will ensure the sessions run smoothly and everyone feels welcome and involved in all the activities.

Lyn Hilton

Lyn loves teaching and thoroughly enjoys helping people to improve their game. For her, one of the best parts of the seminar events is the play of the set hands sessions and with BMB it is the Saturday morning novices.

She thoroughly enjoyed working on the Mr Bridge holidays, travelling around the UK and to different countries on the land-based holidays and cruises. She was with Mr Bridge for a number of years and has been a part of BMB bridge since its inception, especially working with the novices who are doing so well this year.
