About Trouville Hotel

Situated centrally on Sandown’s seafront, the Trouville Hotel is the ideal location for an Isle of Wight break. Opposite the golden beach and with panoramic views over the sweep of Sandown and Shanklin Bay, the hotel offers the comfort and care for a well deserved break. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

The hotel’s 88 well-appointed en-suite rooms, many with sea view, provide the facilities expected by today’s well-travelled guests. The rooms are located across four floors, all of which are directly accessed by the lift. Each room is equipped with flat screen TV, as well as hairdryer, complimentary hospitality tray, toiletries and direct dial phone.

Disabled Access

We do not have any ground floor rooms or ‘disabled rooms’. We are typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those who may need to use a wheelchair some of the time.

We have ramp access via a side door that leads through the restaurant but this is quite steep and it may be a struggle to push a person in a wheelchair up it. Wheelchairs with a width in excess of 60cm may have difficulty getting into the lift and fitting through some doorways including into the bathrooms.

We have limited availability of walk in showers. Please note these rooms might be located along the corridor, through 4/5 fire doors at the far end of the hotel so are not near the lift and are more difficult to access. They are also on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There is lift access to the floors.
