ABOUT THIS CRUISE

On this exploration of Ireland with a hint of Scotland and the Scilly Isles, you will get to see rocky, remote and verdant scenery and visit destinations steeped in myth and legend. Bolette will divert away from the main coastal routes to show you remarkable landscapes such as the Cliffs of Moher, the bonnet-shaped Bac Mòr and Inishnabro – otherwise known as Cathedral Rocks.

You will also sail past Fingal’s Cave and have the chance to visit Giant’s Causeway from Belfast, two sites linked by the feuding mythological giants Finn McCool and Benandonner. Galway, considered one of the jewels of Western Ireland, boasts a craggy coastline shaped by the elements that makes for rewarding discovery.

Your BMB Host

Ingrid Boyd

Having first learnt bridge in the late 70s, she had a 20-year break bringing up her two sons and growing her own business. Ingrid then returned to playing social bridge and club duplicate. More recently she has been directing twice a month at a local club.

In 2007 she attended the EBU teaching course and has since been teaching part time. Ingrid likes to enthuse non-players she meets to discover that bridge is fun, fascinating and friendly (as well as, at times, frustrating!), and has recently taught her grandchildren to play Mini Bridge.
