Included Overnight Airport Stay Prior to Departure

We are pleased to confirm that we have included a 1 night stay at the Spark Hotel by Hilton Luton for the night prior to your Croatia holiday departure date as the flight from Luton is early morning. This room is provided as part of your travel package. Please note that, as this is a included service, it cannot be deducted from the overall package price if not utilised.

Parking
Parking is available at £15 per vehicle, per night. The hotel recommends reserving parking in advance to ensure availability upon check-in.

Public Transportation to the Airport
Bus “A” runs directly from the hotel to the airport terminal 24 hours a day, at a cost of £3 per person each way.

Taxis to and from the Airport to the Hotel
For transfers to the airport and vice versa, the hotel recommends using Uber, as it is typically more cost-effective than a Black Taxi.

Taxis to the Airport
Should you require a taxi to the airport from the hotel, the hotel can arrange one for you at a price similar to Uber. However, in most cases, Uber remains the most economical option.

If you wish to reserve a room at the hotel for the night prior, please contact our office and we make the necessary arrangements. Please note that if you wish to reserve car parking, the fee will be payable upon arrival at the hotel.

Our journey begins with a morning departure from Hotel Eden on Wednesday 6th May, travelling through the picturesque Istrian countryside to Pula, the region’s historic gem.

Explore the magnificent Pula Arena, one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, before continuing to the Temple of Augustus in the old town. You will then have a little free time to enjoy a coffee in one of Pula’s charming cafés and soak in the lively Mediterranean atmosphere.

Next, we make our way to the enchanting hilltop town of Bale, known for its cobbled streets and stone houses draped in history. Here, you will enjoy a local olive oil tasting, hosted by passionate producers who will share the secrets of their award-winning oils. The tasting is perfectly complemented by a selection of delicious Istrian canapés.

Departing in the morning from Hotel Eden on Wednesday 13th May , we travel along the scenic Istrian coastline of Poreč, a town steeped in Roman heritage and brimming with seaside elegance.

Our guided walking tour leads you through Poreč’s historic centre, where narrow cobbled streets open in lively squares and hidden courtyards. The highlight is a visit to the Euphrasian Basilica: a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its glittering mosaics and centuries of spiritual artistry.

After some free time for coffee or a gentle stroll by the waterfront, we head into the lush Istrian countryside to a renowned local winery, where you will enjoy a wine tasting experience featuring some of the region’s fi nest vintages. The tasting is accompanied by delicious local snacks, showcasing the best of Istrian produce.
