Event Itinerary

An English Bridge Union (EBU) Master Points event is where official Master Points are awarded in duplicate bridge competition. The register of Master Points is kept at the offices of the EBU, where EBU members may register their points and can track their performance and ranking within the EBU bridge community.

Key Features of a Master Points event:

Competitive Play: Participants compete in duplicate bridge sessions under standard tournament rules.
Official Scoring: Results are recorded and converted into Master Points, which can be registered officially with the EBU and are added to a player's record.
Skill Recognition: Accumulating Master Points allows players to achieve ranked titles or milestones, such as Club Master, County Master, or higher distinctions.
Competitive Yet Friendly: While there is a competitive aspect, these events are also social, offering players a chance to meet others, improve their game, and enjoy structured bridge sessions.

This Master Point Event is full board and includes 6 duplicate sessions. All sessions are optional and partners will be found. Other event types may differ in format.
