Dating back to the 16th century, Passford House Hotel is steeped in history. It was formerly the home of Lord and Lady Arthur Cecil, Queen Victoria’s private secretary. The house lay by an old ford which used to be the main road between Lymington & Sway – hence “pass the ford”
