Defence is by far the most important aspect of bridge, yet it is often overshadowed by bidding and declarer play. This event brings defence to the forefront, helping you and your partner sharpen your defensive techniques through meaningful count and attitude signals that reveal declarer’s distribution and their likely line of play.
By building this clearer picture, you gain the insight needed to disrupt declarer’s plan — preventing ruffs in the short trump hand, attacking key entries, and breaking communication between declarer's hand and the table. Implementing these techniques consistently will strengthen your partnership defence and, in turn, improve your overall results.
