Event Topic Introduction
It pays dividends to invest time learning conventions in response to 1NT because the opportunity to use them arises so frequently.
This seminar event will be packed with content for novice and intermediate players of the game, as well as key takeaways for those keen to enhance their bridge knowledge. We will cover Stayman and Transfers - not just the basics, but making sure we understand the meaning of subsequent bids as the auction progresses.
After each seminar there will be an opportunity to play some BMB set hands to reinforce what we have learned during the presentation. There will also be duplicate bridge sessions using computer-dealt random hands, plus there will be a small prize for the partnership that demonstrates proficiency in what we have learned.
Passford House Hotel is situated in the New Forest, my favourite part of the country, and offers comfortable rooms, high quality cuisine and leisure facilities in a tranquil rural setting.
2027 will be my 25 th year of working with Bernard and my team and I are looking forward to welcoming you to this event.

A standard seminar event is full board, with two seminars and set hands, 3 duplicate sessions as well as a bidding quiz to reinforce your learning. All sessions are optional and partners will be found. Other event types may differ in format.
