We all like to make our contracts, with extra tricks, if possible. Making a plan is the key to success. So many questions to ask ourselves. This includes that sometimes we have a double finesse position, which will give us a fifty-fifty chance of success.
So how can we give ourselves a better chance? Answer, by getting them to lead the suit. How can we avoid playing the suit and how can we endplay the opposition so that they don’t have a choice except to lead it?
By listening to the bidding and observing the opening lead we are often given clues as to what the opposition hold. This tells us which hand we want them to lead from, which is a good hand to have the lead and which is the hand we don’t want, the bad or danger hand. Sometimes losing a trick is the right thing to do, so plan to do that into the hand that will help you, the good hand.
During the seminars we will explore how to achieve our goals.
