Ingrid has lived in Brighton (Hove actually!) all her adult life.
Having first learnt bridge in the late 70s, she had a 20-year break bringing up her two sons and growing her own business. Ingrid then returned to playing social bridge and club duplicate. More recently she has been directing twice a month at a local club.
In 2007 she attended the EBU teaching course and has since been teaching part time. Ingrid likes to enthuse non-players she meets to discover that bridge is fun, fascinating and friendly (as well as, at times, frustrating!), and has recently taught her grandchildren to play Mini Bridge. She started as a team member with Mr Bridge in 2014 and now very much enjoys teaching Beginners’ Bridge for Bernard Magee Bridge.
