John and Becky live in the lovely Vale of Belvoir, have one daughter and two grown up grandchildren. They are both qualified EBU Directors with John also now directing on BBO. They have been playing bridge for over thirty years and enjoy both competitive and social bridge. Becky also plays for the county. John runs occasional teaching workshops for beginners and improvers for their local club.
John retired after a long career as a Chartered Bio-medical Scientist working for the NHS. Since retirement he’s taken up golf again and is also a member of the Lions Club International. Becky worked as a graphic designer and since retiring volunteers for the National Trust, the local library and more recently as an administrator for their Covid vaccination centre. This, along with their allotment, takes up any spare time.
John and Becky have been working with Bernard Magee Bridge since its inception, having previously been with the Mr Bridge team, and thoroughly enjoy being able to combine their passion for bridge with travel and the opportunity of meeting diverse and interesting people.
